From The Eyes of An Observer

I Observed and I Comment!

As I have indicated in my previous posts, I have a colleague who likes to say negative things with a tone that sounds like nagging. He is someone who does not easily feel satisfied and when he complaints, there will be no holds barred. Take no prisoners. And if you happen to be the one who annoys him, be prepared to be stabbed behind or just look at his facial expression that you would feel that he is unhappy.

Well, here is my wrath: Would you please stop expressing your negativity? It is sooooo DEPRESSING! Seriously, it is! And if you thought that I scold you prohibits your right for freedom of speech, then what about my right for peace, quiet and harmony. The way you channel your complaints only make things worse. Not improving them. Morale has been low. Now you are instilling hatred into the heart of others.

If you are not happy, just go. While you are staying, don’t negatively influence others. A point of discussion is acceptable. But mindless swinging at others behind their backs are not ethical and causes strenuous working relationship with others, especially when they found out. At that moment, you will be facing an awkward situation.

Being born as the only child in your family does not give you the super license to ignore how others feel. Self-control has to be exercised at all times. Bear that in mind. Teasing others should also be done in a reasonable manner. As friends, taking care of others’ feelings is a priority. A gung-ho mentality just for the sake of laugh should not be exercised at the detriment of friendship.
