From The Eyes of An Observer

I Observed and I Comment!

I have a serious question regarding my action. I think the right word here would be ‘inaction’ rather than ‘action’.

Here is the situation: my friend and I usually went home at similar time. As we park on the same level and our cars are parked near to each other, it is normal that we usually accompany one another when either one of us are going back. So, today, she has an extra load in her hand. As usual, seeing my friend in need of help, I offered my assistance to her. But she refuses my help.

My question is: Do I look like I’m not a gentleman at all if you didn’t know the situation? Coz I have a kind of stare from individuals I don’t know when we are at the car park paying machine. They first look at my friend, and then subsequently stare at me. Somehow they were hinting ‘Why are you not helping her?’

Then the next question is: Should I force my way in helping her even though she refuses it at the first place?

Let me know what you think.

Ask her a couple more times and she'll let u help. Girls. They don't usually mean what they say the first time. Lol!

Well, I did! Plus, she knows that I'm can be very helpful.

If, let's say, you don't know me and you happen to see me not helping her out, would you view me as not gentleman enough?

Yes. Public perception.

Perhaps I shall learn to ignore them.

It doesn't matter what they think as long as my friends know what I'm doing.
