When I saw this poll result, I know that Malaysians are filled with road offenders. Penalties (and in this case summonses) are there to deter people from breaking laws. While some European countries are charging them penalties on late payment of summonses, we are giving these road offenders discounts? You gotta be joking right?
If Malaysian government does that, please anticipate that the number of petty criminals in the country to increase! Oh wait! Does that mean that the government have to hire more cops (and eating into our country’s budget deficit) to reduce crimes?
